An Agape Gospel Team consisting of Mark Moses, Shirley Seale, Charles Hoopes (SBC missionaries), Dr. Jimmy Prieto, Dr. Philip Flores, Kevin Sanders and Nelson & Pat Ayala shared the Gospel to 12,000 students and a Faculty & Staff of more than 700 on the occasion of their Christ Emphasis Week from July 17 - 25, 2009. About 3,000 students and faculty attended each of the 18 separate Convocations drawing a crowd of more than 45,000 in the total attendance. Several counselors and pastors were on hand for follow-up work.
Over the past several years, Agape has brought mission teams from Houston to minister to the students at CPU during their Christ Emphasis Week. In almost all of the team’s visit, thousands of students have made professions of faith. The Filamer Christian College in Roxas City have likewise utilized the Agape teams for their Christian Emphasis Week over the years.
